Upon upgrading a NetScaler VPX to firmware 55.8 I found I could not log in to the web any longer. It seems there is an issue when you have special character in your password. You can log into the CLI with your complex password. I will need to look into this with Citrix but in the short term I had to simplify my password via the CLI to finish my upgrade validation.
If you need to adjust your password via the CLI, use the command below (not something I use every day for sure):
set system user <user> <password>
Example:
- set system user nsroot mysimplepassword
